Fishing Benar Headland • Abersoch

BenarThis is a small rocky outcrop, which has easy access and comfortable fishing.  It is an East facing venue.
The fishing area is limited so only 2 hours either side of high water are really accessible. On a big spring tide walk out with the tide spinning towards the end of the pipe on the left hand side for Bass fishing.

Directions

In Abersoch village centre take the road between the Natwest bank and the petrol pumps towards the beach.
Do not drop down into the lower carpark but bear left to the upper carpark.
Walk around the sandy path along the top of the headland until you come to a gate with the sign ‘The Shanty’ go down the steps to the left of the gate and at the bottom bear right and you will come to a rocky outcrop.
Be considerate of the two houses either side of the steps, please respect their privacy.
N.B. In peak times there is a charge for this car park.
